Are children welcome?

Children are very welcome in the restaurant. While there is no special children’s menu the Chef is happy to prepare either a smaller version of a dish on the menu at half the listed price or a dish of the child’s preference if fresh supplies allow. High-chairs are available on request and there are baby changing facilities (in the Ladies restroom).

Parking

There is a fully lit car park (approx. 10 cars) at the rear of the pub. Cars are welcome to be left at your own risk overnight. On-street parking near to the pub is also possible with consideration given to not block access to private driveways.

Dress Code

We have no dress code. Our main aim is to welcome everyone in whatever attire they feel most comfortable!

Service Charge

A service charge is not included in the bill. Any tips kindly received is shared amongst all staff i.e. front and back of house.

Disabled access/facilities

Access into the premises is considered and suitable for wheel-chairs. However regrettably, we do not at this time have specific toilet facilities for the disabled. This is something we hope to rectify in our future alterations.

Dietary requirements

Many of our dishes can be adapted to suit special dietary requirements with a few minor revisions. Please inform Mark or Caroline of any special dietary requirements as soon as you can when booking or ordering and we will endeavour to provide something suitable for you. If you do have specific allergies, ringing ahead will be a great help too so we can cater for your needs.

Do I need to book a table?

It is advisable to call ahead and book a table during weekends to avoid disappointment or if you have a large party as space is limited and weekends are our busiest period. We ask that parties of 10 or over do book in advance and provide the food order at least 24 hours in advance. We do welcome 'drop-in' diners and will do our best to accommodate you where possible.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are welcome in the beer garden and we can provide water on request for them. We ask that owners use their discretion based on their knowledge of their dogs temperment towards other dogs or persons, likely crowd and/or noise at the pub etc. when opting to take their dog with them. We reserve the right to refuse entry where necessary for the well-being of all our customers.

Are walkers and cyclists welcome?

Very!
